Sewing Machine 101!

Saturday, May 13  9 AM

If you’re a quilter, you know that your sewing machine is your work horse. If it ain’t happy, then you (and everyone around you) ain’t happy! Are you puzzled by all the different needle sizes and types? And thread types and weights? What do all those numbers mean??? Do you know how to do regular maintenance on your machine? Maybe it’s not broken…just very, very dirty!

For the answer to these questions and more, come and join us on Saturday, May 13 at 9 AM and learn from a pro. Dave Lavalley, owner of Bittersweet Fabric Shop in New Hampshire and New England’s largest Janome dealer, will be with us to give an informational talk on machine needles, threads and sewing machine maintenance. Dave will also have an extended question and answer period following his presentation. Knowing how to “choose and use” the right tools makes all the difference in the process of construction as well as the finished product!

We’ll be serving refreshments and having a sale that day!  Fabric on the bolt will be 20% off, excluding our sale fabrics. To help us plan for space and refreshments, please let us know if you will be joining us. Call the store (802-334-8879) or post a note on our facebook page. We look forward to seeing you!
