This year’s theme is Sew a Season and we chose Fall for our row because…well, it’s Vermont! Check out the “Row by Row Experience” online and come on over to Countryside and get started! We have free patterns, kits available to purchase for our row, and patterns and kits for a cute tote bag made with the theme fabric.

NOTION OF THE MONTH!

100_0958  Let’s face it. Without a magnifying glass, no one can read that teeny tiny writing on a sewing machine needle! Who knows what size you just broke and need to replace? Or where do you put your #12 piecing needle when you need to hem those jeans and pop in a heavy duty #16? How about using “MyPad?” This is a great way to keep track of every different size and type of needle you own! Just push your needle (almost flat – not straight up) into the foam pad in the correctly labeled space. You can even customize a label by writing the info on a small piece of fabric and attaching it to the pad with your needle. Use the flower head pin to mark the size needle you’re currently using in your machine. Keep this handy – right next to your machine – and never lose track of your needles again! Ten per cent off this month!
