It seems like winter is here, and before we know it, 2013 will be over. BUT…there’s still plenty of time to sew and quilt and create before the new year arrives!! Here at Countryside Fabrics we have some new fabrics, classes and events to help see you through the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Just look at these beautiful new fabrics! We have Oriental Traditions by Robert Kaufman and Serene Garden by Yuko Hasegawa.
We have some new charm packs, too. Check out Kansas Troubles Favorites II, Winter’s Lane, and Floral Gatherings.
How about some Jinny Beyer? We just received several bolts of her newest line of batiks, as well as some Pixie Rolls. Stop by the store and see the quilt we’re working on, and pick up a pattern for a bag and a runner, too.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29th 10AM – 1PM
Looking for something to do on the day after Thanksgiving? Here’s an idea: Come in and learn to make this Spicy Spiral Table Runner! You already have dinner fixed with all those leftovers from the day before, so treat yourself to a calorie-free class! All you need is the pattern, 8 fat quarters and a special ruler (purchase your own or share one for the class.) Join us from 10 to 1, or stay longer if you like. Precut your fabric before class. You’ll be whipping up several of these for gifts for Christmas! It’s really much easier than it looks. Class fee only $30. Sharon Omar, instructor.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14th 10AM – 4PM
Please be our guest at our Annual Christmas Open House! This is our way of saying a big “Thank You!” to you, our wonderful friends and customers. Join us for refreshments, some quick demonstrations and lots of fun! You might even win the big prize of the day! For every $10 you spend that day, enter your name in our special drawing.
Don’t forget our Wednesday Specials! In November you’ll receive 20% off all books and patterns, and in December you can stock up on kits at 20% off! Remember to mark those Wednesdays on your calendar and come on over for some great savings! See you soon!
