IMG_0020Welcome To Countryside Fabrics!

Flo and Roger Verge, owners of Countryside Fabrics since 2012, are continuing to operate this incredible quilt shop on a somewhat smaller scale! We have moved to our new location just a half mile down the road and will continue to provide our customers with wonderful service from our knowledgeable staff who can assist our customers with every aspect of quilting, from pattern and fabric selection to putting in the last stitches in a binding.

We still carry a very wide selection of fabrics including flannels, batiks, children’s, Christmas/seasonal, Moda, Kaffe Fassett, reproductions, blenders, wide-backs and more. In addition, we also have books, patterns, quilting tools, thread and day-to-day sewing notions.

Janome Sewing Machines will continue to be a big part of our inventory, too!

  1. When I went to the e-mail to verify the action, I didn’t check anything–just left it as it was. I will still be getting e-mails, right? or should I have checked something?

    • You need to put your e mail address in the spot on the right of the Home page where countrysidefabrics e address is and chick on subscribe.

  2. I look forward to the day I’m able to get there to see your shop. The times I’ve been there, it was beautiful and a wonderful assortment of fabric.

  3. Now we can shop and if a decision is to be made; that will be much easier as you will have a preview of

  4. Can’t wait until I retire in a few months to concentrate on my quilting. It’s so busy at work right now I don’t have time for anything else and I miss it. Madeleine.

  5. The website looks great. I subscribed so I will continue to get the newsletter. Keep up the good work.
I love going to the shop to fondle the fabrics and to see what is new. When do we start the Stonehenge block of the month? I’m really looking forward to that.

  6. I left the Burlington area over 5 years ago to move to Newport Center. I thought I would have to travel back to Burlington to get my fabrics. I was so WRONG !! I was thrilled to fine Countryside Fabrics – there isn’t a thing I am missing from Burlington. The fabrics and notions are outstanding and the staff is so friendly and helpful. What a wonderful shop and I love all the changes that Flo has made. Thank you everyone at Countryside!!

They have returned to your shop since. I will be back again next summer when i return to Vt again. Will watch for new things on your web site.

  13. Visited your shop whilst on holiday in Quebec. Was very impressed, unfortunately not enough time to do a lot of browsing. Received a lot of help with the shopping from the charming and knowledgable young lady on duty.
